1981-2021 Owner/Principal Instructor, & Manager: Miwok Livery Stables
A National Park Service boarding and riding facility in Golden Gate National Recreation Area.

November 2021, sold the riding school after 40 wonderful years.

• Managed and trained employees
• Owned and cared for numerous horses
• Taught riding to students of all ages
• Guided trail rides
• Ran camps for children

2021: established the Linda Rubio “Making Dreams Come True” Scholarship fund with the non-profit Marin Horse Council, providing riding lessons and programs to children who could not otherwise afford them. She still teaches many of these classes.
